Information Collection
Generally, MNg does not collect personal information about you when you visit the Website, unless you choose to provide such information to us. You can visit most portions of the Website without disclosing any personal information. However, MNg and its agents and representatives may collect personal information from you under certain circumstances. For example, when you submit an online veteran application or corporate mentor application to apply for the Program, such application will require you to share personal information about yourself, including your name, street, city and state address, zip code/postcode, e-mail address, telephone number, age, employment status, educational background and other background information, including any criminal offences. For veteran applications submitted online, mentees may attach their résumés, but such an action is not required. Once a veteran is accepted into the Program, MNg will request information about the veteran’s service record and career, which may be submitted via e-mail, mail or fax. Applications may also be printed and then submitted in paper form to MNg. If you do not provide all of the information necessary to process your application, your application may be delayed or denied. The applications may also request additional optional information, which you may or may not provide. When you apply to the Program, we may maintain a record of the transactions related to your application. We may collect personal information as required or permitted by law, or with your consent. Subject to contractual and legal restrictions, you may withdraw your consent at any time upon reasonable notice, but if you do so, we may not be able to provide some of our services.
Opt-in
You have the right not to provide us with any personal information about you when you visit the Website, but you will not be able to apply for the Program unless you voluntarily decide to print out the application form and submit it to MNg or complete an online application form. You can also decide not to provide optional information that is requested on an application and still apply for the Program.
Information Use
We may use your personal information to communicate with you regarding the Website, the Program, disputes or inquires submitted by you. Any personal information submitted to us, or to our third-party service providers acting on our behalf, will not be sold, leased or shared with or to anyone else by us, unless we notify you otherwise in advance, except as follows:
(1) We may share your personal information with the references you have provided to us as part of the application process in order to verify the information you have entered on your application.
(2) We may share your information with our third-party service providers, to the extent that they may provide certain services.
(3) If MNg is sold, your information may be part of the assets we transfer. Your information also may be disclosed if MNg is considering or completes the financing, securitization, insuring, sale, assignment or other transfer of all or part of MNg.
(4) We may disclose your information to comply with any judicial or governmental subpoenas, warrants or orders. We reserve the right to use, disclose and share your information to investigate, prevent or take action with respect to any potential or actual fraud, illegal activities, circumstances which threaten the physical safety of any person, violations of the Website’s Terms & Conditions or as otherwise required by law.
